Dallas was settled in 1841 as a frontier trading post and today is the ninth largest city in the United States. The population is 1,083,508 and growing, while the entire Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex comprises a population of 5,037,345.

Pioneer Plaza Pioneer Plaza
A 4.2 acre plaza that features the world's largest bronze monument. Forty longhorn steers being driven by three cowboys on horseback, as in the cattle drives that were a part of Texas.


Reunion Tower
It is the best place to have a 360 degree view of Dallas. The 50-story tower is topped by a three-level geodesic sphere that houses a restaurant, observation deck and revolving lounge.

Dealey Plaza and The Sixth Floor Museum
Small park located at Dallas' triple underpass. Plaque describes nearby assassination site of John F. Kennedy. The museum examines the life, times, death and legacy of President John F. Kennedy.

Meadows Museum of Art
Dallas has one of the top collections of Spanish Art outside Spain at the Meadows Museum.

Pioneer Plaza The Mustangs of Las Colinas
The Mustangs of Las Colinas are the world's largest equestrian sculpture. The herd, which ranges from a fierce stallion to a frightened colt, traverse a flowing stream cut through the granite plaza at William's Square in Las Colinas, Texas.
