James George DunhamAssociate Professor of Electrical Engineering, P.E.Associate Dean |
James G. Dunham received B.S.E.E., M.S.E.E., and Ph.D. degrees in
electrical engineering from Stanford University in 1973, 1973 and
1978, respectively. He is an Associate Professor of Electrical
Engineering, is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of
Texas and is the Associate Dean. He was the Assistant Dean of
Undergraduate and Graduate Studies from 1990 through 1996 and the
Assistant Dean for Computer Operations from 1990 though 1997. He is a
member of IEEE, ASEE, Sigma Xi, Phi Beta Kappa, Tau Beta Phi, Eta
Kappa Nu and Upsilon Pi Epsilon. Dr. Dunham's research interests include the theory
and
practice of data compression; cryptography and data security;
information theory; and communications and telecommunications theory.
