Lunch With a "Pro"

The Lunch with a Pro Program offers an opportunity for an aspiring engineer to visit with a working professional in an informal setting. By volunteering and sponsoring a SMU School of Engineering Lunch with a Pro you can increase an engineering student’s industry knowledge and enhance their confidence level while also building a positive and lasting presence on campus for you and your company.

You can sponsor a “Pro” lunch on campus for five students who are at the undergraduate and/or graduate level and are interested in pursuing careers in your industry. The insight, recommendations and expertise you provide is beyond what any student could learn in the classroom.

Our office will make arrangements for you and five students to eat lunch in one of the SMU Engineering conference rooms on campus.

• Discovering future employees or interns
• Sharing your knowledge and experiences
