| Robert Gratzinger
Bob has been an automotive safety engineer for over 30 years. He was employed by General Motors from 1973 – 1988. He was a test, research and design/development engineer at the Safety Research and Development Lab at the GM Proving Grounds and a staff analysis engineer at the Engineer Analysis Department at the GM Technical Center. From 1988 to 1994 he was employed by Nissan North America as a corporate manager of the Engineering Analysis Department. He has considerable experience in vehicle crash testing, occupant kinematics, seat belts, air bags and vehicle structure design and development, crash dummy design and development, biomechanics and accident reconstruction. His current work focuses principally on design analysis of vehicle crashworthiness components involved in automotive litigation. He provides legal testimony as an automotive safety engineering expert in both state and federal courts.
