Industry Scholars Intern Program

The Industry Scholar Interns Program through the SMU School of Engineering offers a wonderful opportunity for undergraduate engineering students with high leadership and scholarship qualities to obtain scholarship funding and very valuable work experience as an intern during their junior and senior years.

Students who graduate with engineering degrees and industry experience have a unique advantage when entering the job market. The SMU Industry Scholars Intern Program is designed to offer this experience to highly qualified students, in addition to providing funds, beginning the freshman year.

The Industry Scholars Intern Program partners with corporations within the DFW area such as EDS, ACS, and Hunt Power. The corporate partners provide scholarship funds for a student through the four years of their bachelor's degree and provide an internship opportunity during their last two years.
