Co-operative Experience
The SMU School of Engineering's co-op program produces outstanding engineers
for industry, by emphasizing the importance of both academic study and career-oriented
preparation as the foundation for future success.
Graduate students can apply to be part of the co-op program to enrich their
education, complement their thesis or dissertation and build connections with
leading high-tech corporations. International students working under a Curricular
Practical Training (CPT) or students in degree programs without company sponsorship
are best suited for the graduate co-op program.
Graduate Co-op SMU/Company Agreement is required. The Graduate Co-op Director
will work with your employer to complete this Agreement.
