May 11-14: Pianist Andre Watts performs with the Dallas Symphony
Orchestra, Andrew Litton, conductor. Mozart: Overture to The Abduction
from the Seraglio, K. 384, Mozart: Piano Concerto No. 9 in E-flat
Major, K. 271, Jeunehomme Poulenc: Concerto in D minor for two pianos
and orchestra, Dukas: The Sorcerer's Apprentice Thurs.-Sat. at 8

May 18-21: Dallas Morning News Classical Season. Mahler: Symphony
No. 8 in E-flat Major - Symphony of a Thousand. Andrew Litton,

Greater Dallas Children's Chorus. Mary Jane Johnson, soprano I (Magna

May 12-14: Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra at Bass Hall (downtown Fort Worth), John Giordano, conductor.

Through May 28: Kimbell Art Museum special exhibition: Giovanni Battista Moroni, Renaissance Portraitist.
Kimbell is the best art museum in the area. It is few miles west of downtown Fort Worth.

The Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) has two exhibitions:
1) Seeing God: Art and Ritual Around the World.
2) Jasper Johns: New Paintings and Works on Paper.

May 20-21: 8th Annual Taste of Addison is a tasty weekend blend of
fancy food from 45 area restaurants with music, carnival rides and a
petting zoo, held at the Addison Conference and Theatre Centre, 15650
Addison Road, an easy walk from DART's Addison Transit Center. Tickets
are $2 for folks four years old and up; food sold separately, on Sat.,
11 a.m.-11 p.m. and Sun., 11 a.m.- 6 p.m. For information, call

Through May 21: "Orion Rendezvous: A Star Trek Voyage of Discovery"
takes viewers on a space voyage with the Star Trek crew to visit a
planet with six suns, a star graveyard and other galactic wonders at
The Science Place Planetarium at Fair Park, Mon.-Fri., 2:30 p.m.;
Sat. & Sun., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $3; call
