Javier Ruiz hopes his studies in engineering and business will help
him follow in his father’s footsteps as a successful technology
entrepreneur.
Javier has already launched a company called International Digitalized
Information (www.i-di.com), which helps clients choose the best media
to provide information to both internal and external audiences. His specialty
is producing miniature CDs that combine voice, animation, interactive
text and photos.
“Seeing information in this format helps make information more
understandable, which can reduce expenses for phone calls and e-mail,” Javier
says. “It also can help prevent mistakes.”
Javier says he became familiar with SMU through a business partner of
his father who is based in the United States.
“There are a lot more opportunities here for business,” he
says.
