Telecom Corridor Technology Club

Breakfast Meeting to be held August 9, 2001

The primary Mission of The Telecom Corridor Technology Club is to enhance the understanding and use of current and emerging technology for high-technology professionals located in the Telecom Corridorâ area. Further, the mission will be to promote education and research resources necessary to keep the area internationally recognized as an area of excellence in high-technology.

The Technical Club of Dallas and the Eric Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas would like to invite you to our next breakfast meeting August 9, 2001 from 7:00 - 8:30 a.m. in the Conference Center Room CN 1.212. Our speakers this month will be Ken Noblitt and James Blackwell from Cambridge Silicon Radio (CSR) speaking on the following topic:

"Bluetooth Technology and Products in 2001" will discuss as an overview the RD and baseband technology surrounding Bluetooth systems. The current trend is for OEM's to initially use Bluetooth modules and then to embed the Bluetooth circuit into the particular application. Actual Bluetooth modules, PC, PC peripherals and mobile phone products shipping this year will be presented. A brief demo will follow.
