November 5-6, 2004 - 2004 ACM South Central USA Programming Contest
Following the local SMU Coding Competition, the six winning competitors travelled to Baton Rouge
Louisiana on November 5 to compete in the South Central Regional meet of the ACM International
Collegiate Programming Contest. Going head-to-head against 73 teams from 37 other schools around the
region, Steven Fratus, Allen Rohner, Toby Huskinson, David Lively, Joey Wood, and Michael Pierce
demostrated their 1337 programming skills during the intense event held at Louisiana State
University. The teams worked hard and had a good time, with the team of Steven, Allen, and Toby
recieving a prize for being the first team to solve a problem (as you'll be able to see from the
pictures). The trip was enjoyed by all (especially the wonderful sponser, Mark Fontenot), and
the teams look forward to next year's trip. Pictures from the trip are posted for your viewing
pleasure.
