SMU's ACM chapter will be hosting a multi-university programming competition on April 8.
Teams of three will be allowed to participate with one computer per team, and universities
may bring as many teams as desired as long as there is enough space. Four hours will be allowed for the teams to complete
as many programming problems as they can. Submissions will be accepted in Java, C, and C++.
Registration will held from 10:30AM to 11:30AM, with the competition beginning at 12:00PM.
Teams will have time to become familiar with the equipment any time between 10:30AM and
12:00PM. Apple will be giving a presentation from 4:00 to 4:45 and an awards ceremony will
be held at 4:45PM to recognize to competitors.
Food and drinks will be provided throughout the competition.
Prizes will include a commemorative trophy and iPod Nanos for the first-place team.
The entrance fee will be $35 per team for teams that register by March 24. Late registration of $45 will be accepted
until April 8.
All entry fees must be submitted by check payable to SMU BEFORE APRIL 8.
