Your success in mastering the Microsoft applications depends primarily upon you! Every time you use your computer note something new: what's this icon for, what's this menu selection do, what's on the menu bars, how is the screen laid out, what's the default value, etc. Also:
· Read your lab manual before coming to lab.
· Know your lab assistant's name and know how to contact your lab assistant.
· Put your name, lab assistant's name, day, and lab time on all work in a header
· Turn lab work in as it is completed to lab assistant. Make sure they received it in person!! No assignments will be accepted by e-mail.
· You are allotted 200 pages per term for printing all lab work and homework. After that you will need to go to the Help Desk and pay for additional pages. Log off before you leave lab.
· Keep all returned homework and lab assignments until the end of the semester in case a grade is accidently unrecorded by your lab assistant.
When you finish one assignment you may start the next lab assignments early, if you wish.
Lab attendance is required until all lab work is completed, for the comprehensive lab exam, and for your PowerPoint presentation.
You may require extra time on your part outside of your regular lab section because of semester holidays and schedules.
You may come to the lab in Embrey to work any time there is an open computer except when a class other than ME 1305 is being held.
