Homework Sign-In Sheet
There will be a homework sheet you must initial when you turn in your homework to your lab assistant. This is to reduce discussion later in the term if there is ever a dispute about if an assignment was turned in on time or not. Please be sure to sign the sheet. If you don't we will assume the assignment was not turned in if it is in dispute.
Also, please keep all assignments as they are returned to you until the end of the term in case there is ever a dispute about a grade that may have been incorrectly recorded.

Read the section in your textbook on the history of the PC. How would you characterize the pioneers in computing? Compare the work done by individuals with that done by companies. Due week of 9/15
Imagine you didn't use your cell phone or computer for the last week. How would you have accomplished the things you usually use a cell phone or computer for? Would you wear clothes with built-in computers and why? Due week of 9/22
Describe and compare your favorite news sites on the Internet (other than John Stewart and Stephen Colbert). Outline pros and cons of getting the news from the Internet rather than a newspaper. Due week of 9/29
