The M.S. in Environmental Science, with a Major in Environmental
Systems Management, emphasizes management-oriented solutions
to environmental problems and regulatory compliance issues.
A minimum of 30 term-credit hours beyond the baccalaureate
degree is required. The program was specifically developed
to meet the needs of part-time students already working in
industry. Accordingly, the required 30 term-credit hours of
course work is interdisciplinary, stressing an integrated
approach to the field. All environmental and engineering management
graduate courses are offered with evening class times, and
via distance learning, to accommodate the busy schedules of
working professionals.
Admission Requirements
Bachelor of Science in one of the quantitative sciences
or mathematics, or in one of the engineering disciplines.
G.P.A. of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale in previous undergraduate
and graduate study.
A minimum of one year of college-level calculus. An additional
half-year of differential equations is desirable.
A minimum of one year of college-level chemistry. An
