3 Management Science Majors Become 2006 Hyer Society Scholars
The Robert Stewart Hyer Society recognizes intellectually gifted undergraduates who distinguish themselves through high scholarly achievement. Eligibility criteria include a 3.85 grade-point average in
difficult coursework and leadership in extracurricular academic activities. While only 12 students were selected in 2006, three of them were Management Science majors. The EMIS faculty are proud of these
new Hyer Scholars:
- Daniel Liu (junior)
- Emily Moravec (sophomore)
- Andrew Moreton (junior)
In addition, Emily Moravec received the University Achievement Award for her essay on the selection process of Supreme Court justices.
