Research Programs

Opportunities for both graduate and undergraduate research at Lyle Engineering are as unlimited as they are exciting. At the heart of one of the country's leading centers of business and technology, we're working to leverage relationships with an incredible list of international industry partners to provide innovative new research ideas and solutions.

The Lyle School of Engineering faculty are world renown in many important emerging areas of technology and engineering: from rapid manufacturing to robotics, from networking to signal processing and communications, and from software development to environmental engineering, to just name a few.

By leading in research publications and patents, as well as active, funded research programs with industry and federal partners, Lyle Engineering is always at the cutting edge of technologies that impact both our world and our students.

We're taking bold steps at Lyle Engineering to continue to ensure that we're strongly positioned to maintain our leadership role in producing the next generation of well-rounded research and business leaders. We're continually extending research and educational programs to take full advantage of our leadership positions in many fields of study.

And, together with our other fine facilities, the new Jerry R. Junkins Electrical Engineering Building gives us one of the nation's premier research and teaching facilities, with state-of-the-art laboratories and superb capabilities for student-faculty communications and interactions.
