Message from the Program Chair
The
2005 AICCSA conference will be exciting! Excellent papers were submitted from
all over the world. A rigorous review
process was followed to critically evaluate all submissions. I want to personally thank the 76 members of
the Program Committee and the 159 external reviewers who helped ensure a
successful smooth review process. Particular
thanks go to the associate program chairs: Mohsen Guizani, Michael Langston,
Suku Nair, and Behrooz Shirazi. Of the 301 submission, only 100 regular papers
were accepted. The following proceedings
contain 127
regular
and short papers which will be presented at the conference. The program is divided into five tracks:
Database and Data Mining;
Networking and Wireless Technology; Algorithms and Theory; Security and
Information Assurance; and Software and Applications
Finally, I’d like to thank Dr. Hesham
El-Rewini for asking me to be the PC Chair.
As usual, he has been a pleasure to work with. Beth Minton has provided invaluable
assistance in putting together the proceedings and helping with other program
issues. Both of you have made the
program a success.
