The SMU School of Engineering sponsors a variety of programs designed to introduce
students in grades K-12 to engineering. Such programs are vital to ensuring
a future engineering workforce.

The Infinity Project
A program developed in partnership with Texas Instruments and school districts throughout the country to
bring engineering into the high school classroom. It’s now being used
by nearly 230 high schools and colleges in 34 states and growing internationally.
Visioneering
An annual event that brings 1,000 area middle school students to campus each
spring.
The Gender
Parity Initiative
An innovative program developed by the School of Engineering to recruit and
retain more women into the engineering profession.
