Collaborative Master's Degree Program
For Tecnologico De Monterrey Students
The SMU School of Engineering invites students from Tecnologico de Monterrey
to participate in an exciting new program that enables students to earn a master's
degree from SMU in Dallas, Texas. Participants will have an opportunity to
enhance their engineering education by taking courses taught by world-renowned
faculty members plus spend time studying in the heart of an international city
with a vibrant technology corridor.
Here's how it works
Interested? Here's how the program will work. First, participants
will take four graduate-level courses via Distance Education during their final
semester at Tecnologico de Monterrey as a part of their regular undergraduate
load. In addition, the SMU School of Engineering will accept for graduate transfer
credit two courses from your curriculum taught by Tecnologico de Monterrey
professors. Then, students will come to SMU to take four remaining graduate
courses on our campus in Dallas, Texas. Successful candidates will receive
an M.S. degree from SMU upon completion of the program.

Admission Requirements
Students must meet the following admission requirements:
• TOEFL score of at least 580 (paper test) and 237 (computer test).
• Cumulative GPA of at least 3.5/4.0
• GRE score of at least 400 Verbal/650 Quantitative
• Be enrolled in one of the International Degree Programs at Tecnologico
de Monterrey
• Be postulated by Tecnologico de Monterrey
Students interested in applying for the program must also complete the SMU
School of Engineering graduate application.
