Encana’s gift is the first step in developing a relationship with SMU
School of Engineering for the education and recruitment of future engineers.
Encana will play a visible role on campus by conducting special information
sessions, participating in the Hegi Family Career Development Center’s
Career Fair, and networking directly with students at Engineering Connections,
the school’s annual business networking event.
“I am excited that our students will have the opportunity
to apply their knowledge and skills at Encana. The company does a great
job developing the technical and interpersonal skills needed for future
success,” said Kathy Hubbard, Senior Director of Undergraduate Student
Experience and Enrollment Management.
“EnCana is proud to support engineering students at SMU and we
look forward to our continued work in partnering with this reputable school
in recruiting qualified students as they enter the workforce,” said
Deborah West, Encana’s Community Relations Advisor.
