Research Accomplishments and Activities

Author of numerous technical papers published in a variety of journals and proeedings, including INFORMS Journal on Computing and the European Journal of Operational Research

Research Philosophy

In developing algorithms to solve new problems, one should continue to try different approaches. Often a synthesis of differing approaches will produce remarkable results. And, in revisiting existing approaches to established problems, I believe one should break the approach down into smaller units and attempt to refine the units to improve performance.
