Erratum and Addendum to the Proceedings of the

2001 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory

The publications committee regrets that a small number of abstracts were omitted and one was misprinted in the Proceedings of the 2001 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory.  A blank page with only the title, authors and page number appears at present in the Proceedings for each missing abstract, and an incorrect abstract appears on page 337.

The following nine (9) abstracts, indexed here by their originally intended page numbers, are now available. We urge you to download them for insertion in the appropriate spots in your copy of the Proceedings. For citation purposes, the (original and intended) page numbers in the Proceedings should be used.

The abstracts are in PDF format. If your browser is not enabled to automatically open PDF files, you may save the abstracts onto your computer (usually by clicking the right mouse button on the page numbers below) and view them later using the freely available Acrobat Reader.
